Common questions about Mobai Ledger

Where is my data stored?

All data is stored locally on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded to any cloud server. Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all data.

Does smart input require internet?

No. Voice recognition uses Apple's on-device speech framework, and text parsing uses on-device AI models (Apple Intelligence or local Qwen3 models). Everything runs offline.

How do I remove ads?

You can purchase "Remove Ads" in the Settings page. It's a one-time purchase that takes effect permanently and completely disables ad SDK loading.

How much storage do AI models need?

Local models come in three sizes: Qwen3 0.6B (~0.5 GB), 1.7B (~1.2 GB), and 4B (~2.8 GB). The app recommends a model based on your device's RAM. If your device supports Apple Intelligence, no additional download is needed.

What languages are supported?

The UI is currently in Simplified Chinese. OCR recognition supports Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and English.

Can I back up my data?

There is no built-in cloud backup. You can preserve your data by backing up your entire iPhone via iTunes or Finder.
